There is a difference between having confidence in who we are in Christ, and having pride that comes from the enemy. If the devil can get us feeling like we have no value or self-worth, we have opened a door for him to possibly destroy us. We won’t believe the Bible or be able to hear from God. We will stay in darkness and allow the devil to take over our lives. We must align our thoughts up with God’s Word in order to be set free.
Our thoughts dictate whether we are in bondage to the devil, or if we have victory in Jesus. It's our choice, but to be set free, we have to think about our thoughts, and change them, if needed.
The Bible tells us the truth about Jesus and the devil; John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more”
